Oh please...please can I have...

You know it's a sign of the times when you start getting excited about furnishings and interiors for your new home.

The fact that boytoy and I can't actually afford our own place at the moment is irrelevant to me - one can never start looking for inspiration too soon.

It was always my girl guide motto to be prepared. (Ok so I was never actually a proper girl guide but the good intention was there.)

I've just been shamelessly mocked by said boy who thinks I'm getting a bit carried away with myself - after all, what I'm lusting after definitely falls under the category fondly regarded as champagne taste on a cider budget.

But nonetheless a girl can afford to dream - even if that's all she can afford. Here is what I'm loving for my (imaginary) open-plan, converted loft apartment:

And as for the wall art...I think I'm in love. I WANT this trolley sign!

But before you all think I've lost my mind, my mojo and my bradshaw-esque obsession there is one very important thing I'd like to add...

I'd very much like one of these to finish off the look please. An Alexa hanging lazily off the coat stand...looking so soft and pretty...ahhh. Heaven.
