For years I tried to deny it. I claimed she was brash, uncouth and nothing more than Paris Hilton's chubby little sidekick. Then my opinion changed. I thought she was brash, uncouth and nothing more than Paris Hilton's anorexic little sidekick.

But now, I will finally hold my hands up and admit how much I love - ADORE - Nicole Ritchie. She went to prison (albeit for about 20 minutes), got chucked in rehab, ditched the attention seeking Hilton and emerged on the other side having done a complete 180.

In other words, she's fabulous. I love her sense of style, from the dresses she wears to her take on accessories and the way she styles hair. So you imagine my absolute delight when I stumbled across this photograph taken of her when she married Joel Madden on December 11 2010.

As dresses go, this is certainly not something I would choose to wear myself - it's simply not a look that would flatter me - but on Ms Ritchie it is utter perfection. It was the biggest day of her life and she nailed it.

I am in love with the delicate lace sleeves and the lace detail around her neck - we all know she's not got a lot in the cleavage department and this tiny bit of frill just gives her a little boost. Yes, she's very thin, but the cut of the dress is sensational on her and the full, ballerina tutu skirt is to die for. Froo froo? Yes. Fabulous? Yes. Anyone who likens this look to that of Bjork and her crazy 'swan dress' needs their head checked.
